I actually had no idea that my career would lead me around the world. I had big arguments with my father about going into music or engineering. I can't complain about his guidance, but I still wonder if I could have made it in the music industry.

High expectations from my first born. She's getting married in Tulsa this October

I've been so out of touch in Asia for 10 years that I didn't even know this site existed. I recently received a special recognition from the Vietnamese government. I've spent more time out of the USA than in over my career. I recently retired from ConocoPhillips, but was Conoco heritage not Phillips....my father never knew I spend a good part of my career with the company that he worked for.

I still play guitar and have a collection and a home studio. I keep fit with biking, jogging and getting tortured by personal trainers. Before coming back to the USA I was on the edge of teaching a really good girl band with my 9 year old and her friends.

I've recently decided that my focus on technology has left me with a less than desirable spiritual outlook on life. I'm going to use a few months off before starting consulting in learning more about the religions of the world. My first trip will be to a very good friend of mine in Thailand to stay in his house and learn more about Buddhism.
